A group of friends come together 10 years after Saskia disappearance, recently legally declared legally dead.
Milla was sent an email from Curtis - Saskia's brother. They had flirted but Milla ended up with Brent.
Brent, Heather and Dale join Milla and Curtis for a reunion weekend - at the ski lodge where their friendships formed. And the last sighting of Saskia.
The narrative is both present- as well as 10 years ago. They were young, competitive snowboarding. The world of sponsorships, accidents, harsh falls and hope to nail the perfect ride.
The Ice Breaker reveals dark secrets - who is lying? Who was the last to Saskia?
Great plot, moved along smoothly and some good twists at the end.

I’ve been in the mood for thrillers lately, and I really enjoyed this one! It’s like I Know What You Did Last Summer but flipped to I Know What You Did Last Winter…Ten Years Ago

I really enjoyed this book.

It has a good promising start. A group of former friends and snowboard competitors are coming back to a mountain resort, each of them invited by someone else. However once on top of the mountain they realize they are alone, trapped and someone steals their phones.

There are two timelines 10 years ago and the present day. We are seeing how things unfolded in the past, mainly the rivality between Mila and Saskia, but something happened to Saskia and she disappeared 10 years ago.

So is one of them a killer? Anyone knows what happened to her?
I really liked how the story is told, it is engaging, thrilling and exciting.

Shiver was an amazing read. I was hooked in within the first three chapters. Normally I do not like when books go back and forth from present to future, but she wrote this book so well that I didn’t mind it! I loved all the characters and the ending had me in shock! I really felt like I was in the book watching everything unfold. Since I am a former athlete I loved seeing a story about athletes that have retired from the sport they love, but still had a passion for it. I highly recommend this book and will definitely be reading more from Allie Reynolds!

A lot of details for skiing, a good fast paced thriller. I enjoyed it enough.
