A lot of remarks on this comic called it "HOT GARBAGE" and they are not wrong.
Millar again shows his poor taste with the (technical incest twist) that was particularly stupid and unnecessary.
But i did find some parts rather clever with the death time twist at the end as an exampel. As such not a complete loss of time.

Cool artwork, but the story was a little lacking.

This is a really interesting comic. I'm not sure it has the legs to support an entire series, but the concept of "what could Batman be like if he were a bad guy" is full of great tilts on the character. It manages to make it rather obvious why the bat is a much more interesting hero than a villain. In some senses this imagining allows you to see Batman resisting his darker urges, and perhaps makes the character a little scarier. It's sort of a meta-text that really only stands because it's leaning on the material it's pretty obviously referencing.

A lean, gory, suspenseful little story with a kinda lame ending. For economy of storytelling it gets an A+, it just wasn't entirely satisfying, somehow.

Wow. So many twisty turny twists and turns!
To build interesting mystery is not enough to just drop "suprises" every single page. It also has to make some sense, the idea is that it leaves you thinking how did I not knew that? I would advice Mr Miller to re-read Morrison's New X-Men's Xorn saga. What is amazing is that reading it back you cannot believe you didn't figure it out, the clues where there, it's not cheap-out-of-my-ass for the sole sake of shocking you.
The only thing surprising about this book is that Nemesis massive ego-induced cape didn't get caught in the back wheel of that ridiculous bike.
