These books are so much fun. I thought this started off quite slow, but once it picked up, IT PICKED UP. Definitely going to grab the next one too!

The action in this book was way better than the first because it had larger consequences, was more engaging, and bigger players in the game. I still have some of the same issues I had with the first book, mainly the really odd phrases used that pull me out of the story and the weirdly sexual lense almost every female character is seen through. As well as Nick’s “sassy quips” please for the love of anything holy make this kid stop. It gets extremely irritating after about 2 chapters.
This ending has me more interested in the next book but I doubt I’ll be continuing the series beyond the third book seeing as it’s the last one I own and I don’t feel it’s worth it to locate the fourth.

I am on a roll folks. I havent been this eager nor read a book (in a series) this fast since I cant remember when.
i just loved it. the snark, the sarcastic commentary between all of the characters, the embarrasing things Nick's mom says to him it all keeps me turning the pages.
This is such a quick read, (it helps that the font is large and the margins are rather on the big side, but hey i dont care. I am enjoying these books.
On to the next one in the series.

These books are kinda crazy complicated when you wait a year to read the next book. It's good though, pretty fast paced.
Review to come.

Nick is back and better than ever. He grows more powerful, sharpens his razor wit, and slowly learns how to interact with the opposite sex. It's fun, funny, and sprinkled with great action.
Highly recommend it.

I enjoyed this more then the first book in the series. It developed Nick a lot more and was faster paced from the start. A nice YA series that has a male protagonist.
