The history of poster/graphic design in Tricontinentalism and other Third World anti-imperialist organising is really interesting, particularly as these OSPAAAL images have circulated as a result of their vibrancy and the politics that they’re depicting.

While I’m not a Spanish speaker, I still found it valuable to have the Spanish and English translations side-by-side; this is the first time I’ve seen and read and truly bilingual book like this.

Given that it’s short and the language it uses, it’s a very accessible book. The only thing I’d like more of would be to go into more detail, which I believe Interference Archive has done with another text.

Love art as a part of genuine activism, love art cooperatives, love the archive, love solidarity 🫶🏽
