Chapter structure seemed a bit random and some sections seemed completely unrelated to the surrounding parts. I don't like when anyone diagnoses someone they haven't met, and there was a lot of that in this book. I'd rather there be more modern examples of autistic women, I really liked those parts.

I was expecting more from this book. Even though it has some useful information, I didn't like the language that was used and I thought that the book was not organized, which made me lose focus while reading.

Also, let's make something clear: there is no "male autism" or "female autism". Please stop.

A good and interesting description of the author’s experience, but fails to discuss her positionality and include discussions of how race and class impact the autistic experience.
