A unique and interesting read. Could have done without the agonizingly detailed descriptions of plants, or the bizarre 'racial' memory thing (they could remember being fish? Really?). Focused on odd moments to describe in detail but then was very brief when going over events that seemed more important. But overall it was enjoyable and something different to read.

Took me forever to read. The characters come to life. The detail in her writing is unbelievable. I read every word of every book she ever wrote. These books will stay with me for the rest of my life. Love them!!
