Pippa and Camden…WOW!

“Tempt Our Fate” is book two in the Sutten Mountain series. Unlike book one, this book isn’t dual timeline, so the pace of the book is just right. Since these characters already met in book one, the book picks up and takes off!

Pippa and Camden go through so much in this book. At the start of their relationship they are enemies, though really that’s just a front for their attraction to one another. I found that the “enemies” part was really just sexual frustration without an outlet, as both of their internal dialogue expresses how interested they are in one another. To be honest, I wouldn’t even classify this as enemies to lovers, so don’t go into it expecting to people who hate each other. Truly, they’re all bark and no bite.

To that point, the moment that they finally break and give in to the attraction was so well written and I found myself on the edge of my seat. Not only do they come together so nicely, but their chemistry grows tenfold!

Singleton did such a fantastic job writing this small town romance. All throughout reading I felt like I was right there in Sutten, breathing in the fresh mountain air and enjoying the scenery. Singleton is such an atmospheric writer and I really enjoy how she’s able to bring her tropes, and settings, to life.

If you enjoy small town love stories, or perhaps love reading opposites attract, definitely check this book out (and then work your way through her backlog after you’re done!)

Pippa and Camden have stolen my heart!! Since the moment they met in Rewrite Our Story I was excited for their story but I did not know how deep the would dig their hole.

Kat was able to add all the tropes we want in to one story without it seeming forced or over done. We have billionaire, small town baker, age gap, and enemies to lovers.

For those who have read Kat’s previous books you get a great mix of Sutten Mountain characters while also seeing characters from Black Ties and White Lies and it’s the friendships we didn’t know we needed but we’re glad to see!

I want to start off by saying I had the honor of reading this book early as an ARC reviewer and thanking Valentine PR and Kat Singleton for giving me this opportunity!

Camden!!! The man of my dreams?? a hot sculptor who can also cook .. say less

Camden and Pippa got off to a grumpy start but, once they got to know each other wow it was hot in here! this book is forever going to make me wish I could have my one-horse moment... and sheesh the banter between the two of them was so good.

Camden is a city man through and through, while Pippa is all country, pink cowgirl boots and all! this was the perfect example of opposites attract in my eyes, with Camden being the definition of a grumpy neighbor while Pippa is the neighbor offering you delicious treats as soon as you move in. I loved watching Pippa knock down Camden's cold exterior little by little and seeing a different side to the sweet, cherished Pippa we meet at the beginning of the book. I didn't expect the ending to hit me so deep in the feels! but gosh it did. Yall just saying but ...Kat did THAT This book is definitely making my top ten of the year, the spice was immaculate, Kat’s writing was incredible.

BE A GOOD GIRL AND READ THIS BOOK NOW

"If only everyone knew that sweet Pippa likes to be fucked rough and dirty. That she is such a little slut that when I choke her, her pussy clutches me so tight it's almost painful" -Camden

I was given an E-Arc of this book for an honest review by Valentine PR

Loved this book! The latter half of the book is what hooked me in. It started out as rom com but when the spice came in oh boy, I did not see that coming. At first it felt out of place but I guess it was a need (lol).

I picked this book up for the age-gap romance but unfortunately it wasn't executed as I hoped it would. You wouldn't think he's 30 something if it wasn't mentioned.

So excited for book 3!!!

YALLL… can “wow” be my review?? Because WOW
Miss Kat Singleton you slayed my whole life AGAIN!!
Camden and Pippa have my WHOLE heart. This is probably my favorite enemies to lovers to date.
Pippa owns a bakery right next to the new art gallery that is now owned by Mr. Camden “book daddy” Hunter and once she finds out it’s OVER for both of them. My goodness. The angst. The kitchen scenes
