I loved this series! I loved that the FMC is a relatable quiet book lover that gets thrown into the thick of the drama!
She's got an inquisitive bookish mind that can't help but explore the drama and intrigue that's going on because it is like whay she reads in books. I feel like we can all relate to that.
I love the murder mystery itself. I liked the romantic interests. It kept me guessing and had the perfect mix of everything.
It's not as dark as some of the same genre I have read but it was a really fun read!

A nice, simple enjoyable read, which I think I liked more than the first book in this series.
I really like Aurora Teagarden and her mother's character a lot.
Off to the next in the series now.

Just okay. The mystery took a long time to develop. It wasn’t as good as the first. I think I’ll stick with the movies *gasp*.

These books are kinda getting boring to me unfortunately.... and this one took place so long after the first with so many changes it was a bit jarring at first. Mostly everything Roe does confuses me...

Going to two weddings—one of a former lover—and a funeral for a member of her disbanded crime study club keeps Aurora “Roe” Teagarden quite busy for a few months. Unfortunately, her personal life seems to be at a standstill—until her fortunes unexpectedly change.
When a member of the 'Real Murder's Club' passes away and leaves everything to Aurora, things seem almost perfect. Until she realizes the woman has left her a murder to solve.

As a prior reviewer had mentioned, I
am not going to give any spoilers by including a synopsis of the entire book. I will say that this is a very enjoyable and quick read.
I am a fan of the Aurora Teagarden mysteries on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel, but am actually enjoying getting to know the Aurora Teagarden character from the books better. The Aurora (Roe) from the books is more brash and relatable than the character on tv. I am looking forward to reading this entire series, and then starting Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series.
