This is a short introduction to what I believe will be a great series. Most people on Earth have been destroyed. Those who have survived the alien takeover, do what they must to survive. While trying to find food and medicine Kala is captured by an alien. In a short time you want to learn what is going to happen between this alien and Kala. I can't wait until the first book comes out to find out more.

I loved this book, it was short and super sweet. It takes place post apocalyptic times, the MFC Fala is trying to scavenge a nearby house to look for potential enemies. The main MMC Beren who is scouting Earth to find the enemy alien race who is destroying earth for their own needs. Beren who mistakes Fala for the alien enemy takes her hostage till he learns she is from Earth in the end he helps healing her of her ailment of arthritis and her companion of his previous head injury. They agree to help each other take out the enemy race that is destroying Earth, and to be by each other’s side. More to come this is the prequel to her series. I definitely recommend if you’re into sci-fi romance. It’s really good short read that gives you the background story of her series!
