I thought I would enjoy another Sara Cate age gap romance but this one was just not my thing. Way too much of a life gap for me.

The characters of Sunny and Alexander were not fleshed out enough for me - things seemed to stay at just surface level. I would have enjoyed a deeper explanation into their relationships with others and how that affected their own relationship. The angst of a "forbidden" romance was definitely there and did pull at my heartstrings. This was not my first Sara Cate novel, but I think she does a better job with her Salacious series.
