really good and satisfying end to the series, definitely my favourite book of the five. seriously action packed, like i swear there was no breaks ever. rick riordan definitely knows how to write characters!

AGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! just such a great finale to an amazing series. this book never fails to make me emotional. i laughed and i cried and i kept smiling like a complete idiot experiencing the percabeth moments allll over again (and that underwater kiss still gave me the same amount of buzz as when i first read it!!! AHHHHH). and of course, luke's character arc and his relationship with annabeth and thalia (although i wish it was fleshed out a bit more, i know it's a middle school novel, so i shouldn't expect much) never fail to make me an emotional sap UGHHHH!!! i'm super excited to see how the tv series is gonna develop these books and i just know they are not gonna disappoint! GOD, and that prophecy at the end is making me really want to reread heroes of olympus.

have never felt the urge to reread a book unless it’s been like a while after i’ve read it but i finished this and immediately wanted to go reread the first one lol
