Once Upon a Prime: The Wondrous Connections Between mathematics and Literature by Sarah Hart

Just lovely. I enjoyed learning so much about the structure and strategies of Literature, without actually having to slog through some of the very tedious-sounding exercises in literary cleverness; and the author's love and enthusiasm for math and reading were a real pleasure. The things she revealed about books I'd read (especially Invisible Cities) were fascinating and enlightening

I've enjoyed lots of Sarah's lectures and her book is just as good. I've now got a list of books to read, to find the maths in them.
I definitely recommend having the physical book or downloading the PDF if you're listening to audio. The pictures are important!

Couldn’t keep reading about the appearance of different numbers and math concepts in literature that I haven’t read.

This was such a fun examination of the intersection between mathematics & literature, and at how humans think and imagine in patterns
