I've been a Gaelic Polytheist for roughly a year now. I've only spoken to DJ a few times unfortunately, and reading their book was a lovely experience. I do well when things are laid out to me in a clear and concise manner; something this book has accomplished well. It's short, sweet, and to the point. It also nicely enough provides adequate real life examples, and address the difficulty of following the virtues when coming from a Christian background. Something that is very common in the community.

This was a practical, useful piece that I found very helpful. In Gaelic Polytheism, a largely reconstructed religion, it can be difficult to determine elements of how to walk the walk. This book distilled the six virtues and the application of them in the modern day beautifully, with heartfelt sincerity. I resonate with this text and will indeed attempt to weave these virtues into my life. I appreciate the author taking the time and energy to offer this guidance to the community.
