This was a fun little musical. I can see a small theater/school doing it

An interesting musical retelling that I found on Libby. Might be fun for a younger audience. Kind of ridiculous as an adult.

A cheesy, amateur musical that worked fine for filling the air in the car on the way to school, when it’s still too early for me to manage meaningful conversation with my children.

In my search for more stories narrated by Jim Dale, I came across this musical turned audiobook. Jim Dale is joined by an entertaining enough cast of singers, but none of the songs will stay with me. Overall I'd say that Spin is a cute retelling of Rumpelstiltskin to listen to with kids. Lasting a little under an hour and a half, it will make a good story-time for the right age group.

This was a cute little version of Rumpelstiltskin. Nothing much changed in the overall tale, but the music was fun (some of it reminded me of the music from Shrek).

I forgot just how much I love Jim Dale as a narrator! I’m off to rewatch Pushing Daisies!

Good fun, with a nice twist to the ending. Some catchy tunes, including fun rounds, and well produced.

Not designed for bedtime.

I enjoyed it, but I wish it'd been better. Jim Dales voice is magic, and it was nice to be able to listen with my kids, but the narrator was predictable and lacking.

An offbeat and funny retelling. Pretty straightforward, but amusingly absurd.
