same as #1 in series. This was a pretty good story. Didn't need the next book but wanted it which I love!

aaahhh... Christian. I really enjoyed this second in the series. Working for Keystone is strange for Raven, she's used to the streets and doing as she will, cleaning up the scum of the earth. When she finally settles in to the work of Keystone, and her partnership with Christian, she really can get down to business. It's going to take the whole team to figure this killer out, but not before traps are laid and lives are in danger. DD really takes her worlds to a new level each and every time I read her, and I can't wait for the next.

The one thing that really stuck out for me in RAVENHEART was the character development. We get to learn more about the pasts of those involved in Keystone. Not a ton, but it was enough to help me get to know the characters better. I still enjoyed Raven as a character, but I didn't find her to be as tough and kick butt as she was in RAVENHEART. She was also missing the confidence I saw in KEYSTONE.
There was a small side romance between Raven and a character not involved in Keystone. It was a bit awkward and I wasn't crazy about it, but that's probably because I still have my fingers strongly crossed for something to happen between Raven and Christian. There is so much chemistry and tension between them that it just needs to happen already.
The storyline wasn't as strong as KEYSTONE was. The bad guy wasn't immediately clear to me, but it didn't take long and there wasn't as much mystery involved when it became obvious and the excitement level went down for me.
Although RAVENHEART wasn't a direct hit for me, I still want to know more about the characters and world enough to add book three, DEATHTRAP, to my wishlist. Fingers crossed I like it as much as book one.
* This book was provided free of charge from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

I quite enjoyed the first book, you get to know the world and how the story is going to work. So we have the bones of what this series is going to be.
So with the second book, we are already familiar with the characters.
I am a Raven and Christian fan!! But I also love Gem and Nico, and, and, and lol ok I love em all.
This one was filled with so much mystery and action and who done it.
I quite liked the sexual tension ridding a lot of the characters. But what I love the most was the comradery between all the teammates of Keystone.
Raven and Christian really start to get to know each other and their partnership really is starting to become just that a partnership.
I like the back and forth they have and the tension they have makes you want more, more, more.
I like that Raven is starting to feel welcome with Keystone so much so that she is making her space her own. And she is learning to trust the other members of her the team.
I again will shout it from the roof, I love Nicole Poole's narration is every book I have listened to. She makes you feel a part of the story. I loved this book with her narration because she does give each person their own voice. And I am sure that can't be easy with so many characters but she always manages to do it flawlessly.
*You don't have to like my review but its 100% my opinion, and I am allowed to have it.*

I feel like this book was almost better then the 1st one. The Characters seemed more developed and not TSTL.Which was nice for a change. I like that the side characters have page time also and that the story line is pushing them forwards.

I listened to this book on Audible. Loved the narrator.
Raven is new to the team and about to take on her first official case. Enjoyable read but a little slow moving for me. The story was still interesting despite the tempo. The characters certainly keep you guessing. I like to think of this book as the calm before the storm. The mood has now been set, the suspense built and now I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Another home run of a series.
I absolutely love this book and can't get enough of this series. I have only good things to say about this book, this series and this author. This is a must read! The only bad part is having to wait for the next book.
