Much like my experience with the first book, I was very entertained with this sequel! JLA has written a compelling plot (despite how many bits I predicted, which is either because I’ve read a fair bit in this genre OR I’ve read a lot of JLA), and it was fun to hang out with Layla, Roth, Zayne and the rest. It was also interesting to learn more about the world and the lore, and as always, it was exciting to see how things were going to play out. Definitely intrigued about how things are going to end!

That ending though!! After reading other reviews before starting this i really thought I’d switch to team Zayne, but nope still team Roth! I just love me a demon apparently lol
