Nigdy nie przeczytam jej ponownie, ponieważ jest zbyt wyniszczająca emocjonalnie (naprawdę nie pamiętam, kiedy ostatnio książka sprawiła, że tak bardzo mną wstrząsnęła), ale wiem, że jest to historia, która pozostanie ze mną na dłużej , nie mam co do tego wątpliwości.

It hurt.
At first I was confused - the most pivotal moment in Amirs life happens at the begginning of the book? But... Where do you go from there, right?
But it went. And even if at some point ten years passed, it was still going and keeping me hooked on the book. A heartbreaking story. And so many twists and turns and although they might seem a little cliche at times, they never felt it.
For you, a thousand times over.

Such an emotional novel, going through the character’s life and learning things that were true was truly an experience. I was putting this book off because I didn’t know if I could get through a tough topic but I ended up reading it in one sitting and I feel good knowing I’ve read such an impactful book
