Mafia romances always do it for me especially when an alpha male is arranged to marry a badass FMC and that’s exactly what Sinful Vows gave. Both afro-italian main characters gave this story its own uniqueness and really set it apart from most mafia romances out there. I enjoyed getting to read through their POV’s, and their experiences and struggles. On top of it, Enzo is a top tier book boyfriend. He gives “touch her and die” and “my wife” vibes plus the pure love he has for Lucia and the way he treats her as an equal while worshipping her is unmatched.

This book is giving gangsta love. Well of course because it’s a mafia book. However, the female main character is also apart of that life style and she doesn’t go! She values family over everything. There is a little spice not as much as I would like but this was ultimate a good short one day read.

I was hooked from the first chapter, I haven’t read a good crime romance in awhile. Asia girl you’re my new fave author. Loved all the melanin representation and Lucia being a bad a$$ with a gun was chefs kiss

I think this is a great intro into Mafia romance. I have been looking for diverse mafia romance and this definitely fit the bill. I liked the pacing of the story and the reveals/twists. This was a good start in the genre for me.

AM’s books seems to have a soap opera feel to them. The primary and secondary plot lines were good. Both main characters were good and at times funny. Though it felt like something was missing, it was an enjoyable read.

Not gonna lie, I thought this books was going to get me out of this reading slump. But it did not!!!
I expected to go for a good mafia romance, with a strong female character and it was for the first 20% and then the narrative changed, with time jumps that I dindnt see coming and that get me out of the narrative and the tension between the 2 characters.
