Makes me wish I lived to meet Radiguet when he was 19 so we can have a summer fling in Paris

I get what everyone is saying about this book. The writing is striking, and the writer is (or was) so self-aware for a boy of that age. It was so well worth reading, but I didn’t really enjoy the experience of reading it. I couldn’t quite feel at home with the boy himself.
