Well the concept for this book was definitely interesting! I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to wrap my head around it but it was…….unique lol. It’s my first female on female romance and I couldn’t get behind it. Maybe it’s because she was rotting for the first 90% of the book idk lol (and I mean body parts falling off rotting

This was a really interesting concept. A zombie and a dryad falling in love is not a trope I expected to enjoy as much as I did. The narrator (zombie's) voice was done so well, and I loved the moral greyness of it all. I'd love to see the story expanded because I could've used just a little more.

Short and lovely sapphic fantasy romance between an undead warrior woman and a dryad. Hal is set on revenge against whoever killed her, and along the way she meets a dryad named Cedara. She helps Hal on her quest. I really adore the ending to this story. I will definitely check out D.N. Bryn's full length novels.

Dryad x zombie FF short, memory loss, vengeance! Really enjoyed the world building elements for how short this story was! Also had some fairytale elements.
