Pretty girl

I have to start this review by saying that Travis was so incredibly sweet! I loved his character so much! They both had been through a lot in their younger years and somehow fate bought them together. These 2 had great chemistry and Liv and Summer had a really great friendship! I had to agree with another review and say it would have been good to get Travis' POV when Brody showed up. I also thought it quite unusual that he did not say a word that whole time, it was just odd. I appreciated what the author had to say in the TWs in the beginning and agree that in order for us to understand Olivia we had to see all of her and listen to her whole story, as horrible as some things are to read/hear the whole story needs to be told, not just bits of it.
I really enjoyed this story and I highly recommend it. But just read the TWs prior, just incase and to forewarn yourself

I picked this one up on a whim, it’s short, sexy, and dark. Exactly what I needed to get out of my slump!

Olivia is a strong, cold-hearted girl who’s finally able to move back to her home in NYC after being exiled to California by her parents. Her struggles in Cali have made her heartless and unfeeling. I admire her tenacity and strength after her ordeal in Cali though.

Travis has a past, one he isn’t proud of. His backstory is tragic and it really gives the reader a better understand of him. I love how fiercely he feels for Olivia, and when they come together…explosive isn’t even the best word for it.

“You’re mine now pretty girl. And I take care of what’s mine”

This was the debut novel for this author and you cannot tell. I absolutely love her writing style.

What I thought was going be to be a cute “fix the broken girl” romance turned into so much more. We find out Travis has an unexpected past of his own. *swoon* Boy did that side of him make me like him even more.

The side charters in the story are just as great as the main charters. Everyone should be so lucky to have Summer as their bestie.

I can’t wait to read more from this author

spoilers!!!!

this book started off very slow, the first line 200 just felt like them hooking up and trying not to actually date each other because they were both afraid to commit.

but after those 200 pages it got good. all the flashback chapters happened and you find out all about olivia’s ex rapist boyfriend and travis’s gang life and dead girlfriend jasmine.

idk how i feel about travis. cause he treats olivia so well but he is also a murderer. he was a part of a gang and murdered people then he killed brody because he kidnapped olivia.

i love olivia and summers friendship, they both care about each other so much and are connected at the hip.

i also am curious about summers story and romance cause the book ended with her agreeing to go to Harvard with Jax and Mac.

there are so many triggers in this book so i would not recommend for the faint of heart but i liked it.

endless love

I absolutely loved this book. Loved the push and pull at the beginning, then I loved how they were able to pick up the broken pieces of each other and themselves and tape it all together. Their love was beautiful. And the whole group dynamic was great, definitely found myself loving Summer and the other boys too! I can’t wait for more!

Travis and Liv have that soul deep kind of love. The kind you feel in your bones and there is no chance of ever escaping it. As much as Liv pushed and pushed Travis was there to pul and pull. There was no chance he was walking away from Liv once he had her. The chemistry between these two is off the charts and unmistakable and when they get together

Olivia has just returned to NYC, her old stomping grounds after schooling in California. All she wants is the best summer ever with her very best friend, Summer. It doesn’t take long of her being back in town for her to catch the eye of the smoking hot tatted Travis. For a guy who is deathly allergic to keeping a girl for more than a few hours, he is instantly drawn to the raven haired beauty.

Both Olivia and Travis has serious skeletons now their closets. And maybe, just maybe, being together can set them both free.

This was dark and gritty and sexy as hell!! Thank you to the author for my review copy.
