I've read all of Katrina Marie's books. She is now one of my favorite authors!

In Rember That Night I relate really well to Darcy. She is a geeky nerd who reinvents herself at college. She doesn't want to relive pain from the past, and I can totally understand that. While I feel like Darcy struggles with communication, you really see some growth to her, where she learns how to communicate better.

Derrick is one of the HEA perfection guys. He's romantic, listens, and tries to prove his love to Darcy. She isn't very receptive to his attention at first, but you understand why. Derrick and Darcy are great characters, and their story is adorable!

The Taking Chance series is one that makes you feel like you're friends with all the characters. While the books can be read as stand alone, I don't recommend it. The stories tie into each other, but you don't have to know how, but it really helps! Plus the more books you read, the bigger your circle of friendship!

Darcy and Derrick dated once before, only on the night of one of those dates Darcy was stood up and decided she needed to make a change in her life before going away to college.
A year later, their best friends are dating and Derrick wants to win Darcy back, he wants to tell her what happened that night he stood her up at the restaurant. Will Darcy be able to forgive Derrick? Will she be willing to give him a second chance at a relationship?
This is the first book I have read by Katrina Marie and I am definitely going to go back and read the other books of this series, though it is not necessary to follow along with this one. I loved seeing the struggles in their relationship. It felt real, it felt like the struggles any young couple in college may experience.
Darcy’s friendship with Cami is great. I loved that they are almost complete opposites of each other but would do anything for one another. Sign me up to join in on those Buffy nights! I loved that!!!
This isn’t a smutty romance book, it’s a beautiful story about a young couple who finds their way back to each other after a misunderstanding and the struggles they experience trying to make their new relationship work.
I look forward to the next books in this series and seeing how all the previous couples continue to grow.
