The pacing of this book is super strange and at points the time jumps in the story made it a little confusing for me to fully piece together. There were some good creepy and WTF moments and it seems that the author exceeds in writing about gore and uncomfortable topics which makes sense coming from ‘nosleep’

So creepy as each chapter progresses!

A bit confusing with the progression of events(his childhood could've been told in chronological order) and it would've delivered the same type of creepiness and suspense to the readers.

I also wanted the author to give more depth or information about the penpal/stalker so it lacked that closure for me in the end.

Overall, I still liked it and it fit the vibe of my spooky reading list 🎃👻

Very slow burn of a book but thoroughly creepy. Has a sense of dread almost from the beginning that builds slowly until the very end. Not very action packed but it's the atmosphere that makes it a pretty creepy read.

it was super verbose at times and would have benefited from a look by an editor, but it was incredibly creepy and gave me chills numerous times.
