A perfect work of short fiction!! I already know this is going to be read and taught in classrooms for years to come; this is right up there with James Joyce’s The Dead in my eyes. Cohesive, spellbinding, and an exquisite display of a master writer in her element.

Also gotta say, I’m shocked at how many 5-star reads I’ve had this year. Will my luck continue to hold?
