I got a little lost trying to decide the age range for this book. It looks too much like a picture book for older kids, but the wordless story might be confusing for younger. I got confused, but still enjoyed it on rereading.

I can see how this would make a great concept book for a classroom.

This is a pretty nicely done little wordless children's book. my only gripe technique-wise is one I commonly have with children's books that use sequential art techniques: the artist needs to study some comics to see how it is done. I am left with two questions as to the narrative: are they all boys, and are they allowed to leave the Seahorse Pier, or is this like an eternal children's party?

A great wordless picture book--but I'm still not sure that these kids aren't being abducted...it's slightly unsettling...
