The cover of the French version is HORRIBLE, but the story is really good even if I expected a little more than that. It is clearly very well written, but I didn't like the story more than that. Since I found it a little redundant. There were a lot of REPETITIONS and the protagonists exased me by force

I was honestly very let down by this book after hearing such great things about it. Everything was so mundane but romanticized at the same time that it lacked the depth needed to fall in love or even like the characters. Triggering topics such as familial and romantic abuse are presented on the surface level with no real contemplation. The characters are just placed into their situations that it made it hard to have empathy for them.
