Full of onomatopoeia and lots of animals making noise, this would be a fun group read aloud on a music theme. The story line is pretty light, but there's lots to imitate and the illustrations are great.

This book is fun, being ideal for a noisy read with lots of voices and sound effects. After I finished I had to read it again, it was that fun. It's similar to Bertie and the Bear and Animal Orchestra- there is no really new ground here musical instrument sounds and animals have been put together in all sorts of ways. But it does make for good interactive reading to make a rainy day slightly more bearable.
