It took me at least 200 pages to get to the point where I didn’t want to put this book down. I read many other books in between and kept forcing myself to come back and keep getting through this one so I can finish the series before CC3. I am so glad I kept going. In true SJM fashion, the last half of the book is where you start screaming and crying and don’t stop until the last page. Really, I cried multiple times reading this. I loved the Celaena —> Aelin arc in her mind.

I am much more excited to finish the series now that I’ve read this book. The ones before it made me wish I was reading acotar again instead.
