I forgot I read this two years ago. (EXACTLY! HOW BIZARRE!)
Anyway despite the fact that my memory is going south for the winter. The Sammy Keyes books are hilarious. This girl has moxy and then some. And for the tween age they are pretty great mysteries.
There is some mild swearing in some of them.

Sammy Keyes has some maturing to do. She is still only 13.
As the story begins, Sammy is climbing up the fire escape one evening, only to encounter a man coming out of the fourth floor. She scares him to death, literally. His dying words are to get rid of the cash he has.
So why did the man die? Why did he have so much money on him? And why did he want her to throw the money away? These are all questions Sammy must answer.

I am back again with another Sammy Keyes book. I am trucking through this series for several reasons. They are always such a light read for me to cleanse my palette so to speak. But also, I am nosy and I need to know how the author ended the series.
While I am a big fan of Sammy and her sassy self, I did not care for this book at all. The author really focused on the size of one of the characters and took several disrespectful digs at her weight and I did not like that at all. And that is all I have to say about that.
