I loved it. It just kept me turning pages and I felt connected to the characters.

Started off with a hiss and a roar but then faded throughout the book when the various subjects were exhausted. Ended a bit flat.

This book sounded promising, but I couldn't get into it after the first chapter. Like someone else said in their review, there was too much telling about what happened ala "this happened, and then this happened" and not enough active story. Maybe I should have stuck with it through the back story, but I just wasn't interested enough.

Stayed up late to find out "whodunnit" that is a compliment. Would make a good tv movie.

I tried and tried and tried again to read this because its blurb was so good - the book not so much for me. Ultimately it's all hat and no cattle - where hat is exposition and cattle is ... hell, I don't know what it is, but never you mind. Not for me.

I really liked how this book explored the themes of how much we are responsible for someone else's fate, how forgiving we should be, and when it's ok to let go and reach for your own happy ending. Oh, and what constitutes a good parent as well. Rather heady stuff for what is also quite a thrilling page-turner to boot, and the author's ability to successfully interwine multiple character's pov's Is quite impressive as well.
