3.5 stars This was a really fun Christmas story I probably would have never discovered if my good friend Michelle hadn't made the cover! (she's good, isn't she?) So I just loved the idea of Magic going awry and the guy turning into a dog. That turned out to be very cute and I really enjoyed the main characters magic struggles in general. I found myself really wanting to know more about this world though - like what kind of family casts her side for Xmas because she sucks at spells? I'm hoping I'll later see this as part of a series and get more of the world!

This was a really cute Christmas story. I love witch stories and mixed up potions. I am going to look for more by this author.
