Omg just finished this and wow! It ended on a major cliffhanger and I just cannot believe how good these books keep getting! I feel shattered, and broken cause I will miss these characters I’ve growth attached to. This is not the end though, I know Aveline will write and publish more about Clecanians and I cannot wait! I am now a sci-fi romance fan

The chemistry between Maxu and Meg is exciting and spicy, although Meg's reluctance just to get to know her mate is irritating, especially because she told the Queen that she would fully accept a mate if she were to be recognized on the tour. But that's character growth: They're both selfish at first, with neither one wanting to submit to the wants of the other over their own, but together they somewhat reluctantly—on Meg's part—learn to care more about each other and grow to become selfless instead.

It was especially great and refreshing to be able to travel to other parts of the planet! Tremanta definitely treats (treated?🤫) the humans better than the rest of Clecania. But that ending! Ugh! It's good to see something new about to happen and how that'll affect the humans and Earth. But how irritating
that the KIDNAPPED humans will once again lose any protections that they had
because most Clecanians are assholes. So much for loving and honoring females on this planet; guess that only works when they have limited options. Although I do sympathize with their struggles, I can not accept or justify the measures they're willing to go for it. But I AM curious to see where the author takes this story now and how this new dilemma is handled.

*Regarding Sikthand: Maxu did NOTHING wrong! Omg, Sikthand's story is going to be a dramatic and annoying one.🤦🏻‍♀️
