I needed a marriage of convenience pick me up and that's what I got! This was an entertaing read, OK read. Characters weren't developed that well, but I guess I could overlook it because I was just there for the romance. Writing wasn't great either and certain parts of the plot weren't needed and were clearly just there to add some conflict to the storyline.

i liked this waaay more than expected. marriage of convenience is just always good, add great smut, hockey and i'm happy. BUT THEN out of nowhere there were these little darkish elements nobody mentioned (that didn't 100% fit in but somehow still worked) and i'm thrilled.

I liked the premise but disliked the execution.

Very different from the rest of the series and i had so much fun reading. I loved reading about Charlie and Mica and the book was very interesting to be honest. The mafia trope was unexpected but i liked it nonetheless. My only problem with this book -same with the rest of the series- is how naive the female leads are. Why do authors always have the need to make intelligent women seem dumb? Also there was a scene or two that definitely was not realistic but i moved past that and overall the book was pretty decent.

No sé si fue que me leí este libro en una noche pero por qué me pareció tan gracioso. Al final como que se resolvieron las cosas a la velocidad de la luz pero me gustó, cumplió su propósito de romance hetero.

My favorite of the series so far - strong 3. It's over the top but in the best way. I'm a sucker for the marriage of convenience trope and this had a modern marriage of conveince and the Russian mob tropes. It shouldn't work, but it does. This book definitely has the most believable relationships. The pregnany trope was very annoying. The author didn't do a greate job of convinving me that the LAST thing Mica wanted was for Charlie to get pregant. If that was actually true, he would have ensured there was some for of birth control (whether it be something Charlie took/had or a condom). When the first chance he got he used no protection, it made it feel like it was necessary to move the plot forward to the ending the author wanted rather than being true to the character she had created. That being said, it ended up being fine. Charlie and Mica the best communication for any of the main couples so far. The Wolves community really starts to shine in this book making all the relationships more believable. Excited for Krista's book next.
