I needed a break to cope with my fourth wing/ iron flame meltdown, so I picked this up. Whilst it definitely was spicy, like very spicy, the plot itself was decent. I think the author could’ve done a little better. In fact, I wish it was done better. It was a fairly predictable. But I also couldn’t put it down, which is strange. I dont “DNF” books, so maybe that’s why. Would I go out of my way to purchase the book if I didnt already have it? No. It was kinda overhyped.
- personally, I like a good plot with plot twists in it with my smut. Not smut with little plot, or poor plot.

Brilliant

I have no idea what I was expecting but this wasnt it, brilliant story of old gods, demons and revenge. The MC is loveable and I found myself cheering for her even when she was doing something stupid and dangerous haha. Some genuine laugh out loud moments. Can't wait to read the rest of the trilogy! :D
