I do love a good spicy read. I've had this series for a bit, but decided to pick it up now because I joined a group read. 

But it wasn't all spice and kink. There's intrigue, murder, a burgeoning love story, and a death cult to an eldritch god. 

It's a fun, spicy read if you like dark romance, but be sure to read the triggers!

If you're looking to step into dark romance, I definitely recommend Her Soul to Take by Harley Laroux. It's delicious and wicked and not too much horror-y. The spicy scenes are on point. I love a hard hero who melts only for the heroine. It IS dark, but it's also surprisingly delightful. I adore it.

This was my first ever paranormal dark romance book and shit I think I have unlocked yet another reason why my friends think I’m crazy weird. 

I really enjoyed this book, the plot wasn’t bad but definitely could have been better but ahhhhh the spice was sooooooo good. 

I had a great time reading this and will definitely be reading the next book.
