Another great book by rick riordan. Action packed and involes not only greek mythology....My friend and I are patiently waiting for the 4th book in the series.. the house of hades. All of his book are worth the wait.

I swear to God, Rick Riordan's books are the literary version of 'let him cook' and I love it

This is a strong start to a new series. It has a lot to introduce and does it in an interesting way. I don’t feel like we get enough of who the new trio are. Their characters seem a tad shallow in their motivations. Jason is understandably limited but I wanted more from the other two. It is a good start but it has a lot to live up to.

Well THAT was quite a cliffhanger! Thank God I'm reading this series when it's already completed.

I think for now, I'm settling on a 4.5 to 5 star rating. This definitely felt more adult than the last Percy Jackson series did, which I can appreciate. The books seem to grow up as he does.

I had a lot of fun with THE LOST HERO; definitely more fun than I figured initially going into the book. It's been a few years since I finished the PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS series, so I stumbled around a bit at first trying to jog my memory on events in the last series that were mentioned or important in this one. But despite that, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this first installment of Roman and Greek mythology intertwined. I can't wait to see where Riordan takes this series next!
