last year I read this book for my novel study and I made a digital zine about different topics in the book such as literary feminism, biblical parallels and its connection to pop culture, I adore this book with my whole heart and I will read it cover to cover

Victor Frankenstein is the perfect example of 'just because you can, doesn't mean you should do something'... just because you can (technically) revive the dead, doesn't mean you should
I believe this book shows quite well that we aren't born evil but instead become evil due to our surroundings and experiences...
~ SLIGHT SPOILER AHEAD~
The Monster could have been good if it wasn't for people judging him and ultimately making him loose trust in the goodness of others
To me Victor seemed quite annoying with all his self pity and the way constantly mentioned how bad and evil the monster is and how he suffers.
----
About the writing:
A bit langhty at times but that might have to do with the time it was written.
Once you get used to the writing style it's not that hard to read

Amo este libro tanto como amo Dracula de Bram Stoker. Para siempre recomendado, soy un amante de Victor y su creación.

Got me back into classics. Really loved the writing. Found the backstory interesting. Simon is wrong it does not read like fanfiction
