some interesting insight here if you can look past medawar's snobbish tone. the title lead me to expect a collection of essays about creativity in science but really only two of the eight essays tackle the topic the directly. highlights were the more historical essays "darwin's illness" (i never realised freudians had so much to say about poor charles) and "a biological retrospect".
