Reviewers seemed to have many positive things to say about the author, so I decided to give it a go. It was perfectly awful. A story with so many twists and intrigue had the potential to be most interesting was made dull as dishwater and more annoying. Normally I am generous in my ratings and rarely say unkind things about a book because I realize writing is an extremely personal endeavor and as an avid reader, I am exceedingly grateful for those that do. But this book annoyed me no end at the waste of a good story. Save yourself and find other true crime works to spend your time with
