 The cover is kinda cute.

I saw this book in the 2021 horror releases and decided to pick it up for one of the challenges because it was short. I didn't expect it to be 50% poetry. But I love the mixture between poetry and short stories. However, it wasn't what I expected it to be. I cant believe I'm saying this but I think I like the poetry parts more than the stories. There was only one of them that I enjoyed. Most of the stories were weird and boring.

Honestly just not a big fan of most of the stories/poems. I did like a couple though.

For an anthology billed as comedic horror and horror prose, this was probably one of the most bland, boring collections I've read. I read about half the stories and poems, but literally not one of them grabbed me, so I decided to stop. It's not that the stories were written very poorly or had a lot of problematic writing - it was just that nothing happened and I was extremely bored through all of them. Because the writing itself was decent I'll round up from 1.5 stars to 2, but this was super disappointing, even if I only paid a couple bucks for it.
