3.5-ish stars. This was a fun, if brief introduction to the end of the ice age, with a focus on the Missoula Floods. The story adds a time travel element that would appeal to fantasy/sci-fi readers. I always enjoy a book that can cleverly disguise learning.

This would be a great book for a grade school classroom. Lots of information about the Pacific Northwest during the last Ice Age, presented in an entertaining format.

A really good educational graphic novel, with time travel! The art is really beautiful as well. This was particularly interesting, since I live in the area this ice age flood happened! I started reading Bretz's Flood after finishing.
