This was SO fun, just what I needed as my beach read during vacation. The author was witty and also refreshingly funny with this story and I found myself loving both two MC’s pretty equally at the end. I can’t wait to continue with this series.

It was alright. Very similar concept to You Deserve Each Other, which I enjoyed but I think the execution here wasn't as good.

I am a sucker for a good rom-com and To Have and to Hoax was exactly what I was looking for! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

In our story, Violet and James were a whirlwind love match(with a smidgen of scandal), but the last 4 years of their 5-year marriage have been filled with silence and forced politeness. Violet schemes to fake an illness and remind her husband he still loves her and is being an idiot. But James isn't a complete idiot and catches on and starts playing along with the hoax.

This book was so close to great for me! The banter between Violet and James was top-notch. I loved all of the side characters and am planning to continue with the rest of the series(Diana and Jeremy already have my heart

3 stelle!
