Oh, my, did I love re-reading this story… although, I could not rate them 5 ⭐️ because I consider them to be kind of a summary of the novels and there are so many details I’ve missed while reading… I would not recommend reading these mangas as a first approach to the series, though, since it could be a bit confusing and chaotic at times if your don’t have a previous knowledge of the world-building and the terminology. All in all, it’s been fun remembering this story that I love so much.

I found this when I was checking out the selection of books in my local library and with me absolutely loving the infernal devices series, and anything wrote about the shadow world I just had to pick it up. It was easy and quick to read and covered all the main aspects of the book, it would of been 5 starts but i felt it missed some aspects of the story that were important to its progression which I only knew from already having read the series, but overall really enjoyed having the illustrations to go along with the story.

OMG! OMG!

Okay, wow! I love this. I love this so damn much. I'll need to read the novels really soon because... wow!

I love our 3 main characters. I love Will and Tessa. I love Jem and Tessa. I adore Jem though. He's certainly my favorite in this. I Had a feeling from the first novel and manga but it's safe to say that he is. Team Jem!!

This story is everything!!

*cries* that was SO emotional!

WHAT a finale! I honestly couldn't put this book down. The illustrations continued to make me swoon, Jem was pure perfection (and so was Will) and there was death, treachery, battles and declarations of love *swoons*

The last few pages were simply beautiful!!! I believe the ending will go down in literary history (at least I hope it does). I would say it was the perfect love story but it was more of the perfect love triangle. Anyway, a truly spectacular read to give your heart a workout!

“you ask how i, being immortal, survive so many deaths. there is no great secret. you endure what is unbearable, and you bear it.”

i love the clockwork princess novel so much, which is probably why i’m being a bit more critical than i usually am to graphic novels, but with this the pace was just annoyingly slow, whilst also being jumpy. i feel like this book isn’t really well translated into graphic novel, unlike the mortal instruments, and that’s ok, but yh it was fine, just not very gripping - unlike the original story.
