This was interesting to read. I haven't completely loved it but I think it's good and it's also given me another insight at reading classics and just Medieval ages in general. I sort of felt that most of the characters were very unlikable to me, especially Tristan and Iseult. On the other hand, I will support my underrated queen Brangaine no matter what!! She was so underrated and had to suffer for her queen's crazy decisions. Also, the other Iseult. She was cool until she decided to hurt Tristan which resulted in his death. That wasn't cool. I will gladly watch the movie to get a different insight into the story. But I still know that I can't judge this book too harshly, since it was written almost a millenium ago. This is also one of the best I wouldn't have read if it wasn't for my literature classes where we learn about history of literature. We aren't supposed to read them, I just thought it sounded good and interesting.

A tragic romance story where you get two likable protagonists.

Also this is unrelated to the context of the book, but doesn’t look like at least one person has a their neck in a weird position in most of the cover art for the book?
