This is not my first book by Elizabeth and while I had higher expectations, it did not disappoint, I love the omega verse aspect and the fact that the FMC has a chronic illness, this is a fast-paced book so if that's not your thing I wouldn't recommend it, I wish it was slight a slower pace but nonetheless it's a good book, it's all along fluff and cuteness overload with angst at the end and a cliffhanger.

Sweet. Will read the second one. But major criticism was the writing…got overly formal and stilted (esp in the dialogue) like a high schooler trying to sound mature

This is a very sweet story, so sweet it nearly gave me a toothache from all the over-the-top sugar.
Bailey-Rose is a kind-hearted character with nothing but medical troubles in life. The men who turned out to be her scent-matched pack are all so thoughtful and caring; there is no angst from inside the relationship they are developing.
There is a cliffhanger, because Elizabeth Knight can never help herself lol, but its not a terrible one (definitely not as bad as I thought it was going to be).
I'll admit this story is a bit on the overly sweet/innocent side for me. My reading tastes of 10 years ago wouldve been all over this, but ive dipped into the dark end and struggle to enjoy these sweet stories as much. That being said, its definitely worth a read!

This sweet Omegaverse has a different twist on the "drama" compared to other Omegaverse stories because of the FMC's heart condition. I love Bailey-Rose as a character, and I love really seeing her embrace her loves and her limitations. The guys are all amazing and love her instantly. Loved it and can't wait for book 2 of the duet.
