so mothefucking good !!!! So many diverse romance stories that were so original and creative, some of these would have made excellent novels or even movies.

I think my favourites were: “Unbound”, “Twinkle and the Star”, “Back at your Door” and “Treasured”. These were just *chefs kiss*. I will definitely be looking into these artists works

Twisted Romance wasn't precisely what I expected. Each story takes romance as part of its premise, but not all are romances. So don't go into this expecting HEAs all the time. It blends contemporary, horror, fantasy, romance, and sci-fi, and many of the stories are queer. The collection mixes comics and prose stories — most of the stories I'd individually give four stars or above.

My favorites were:
  • "Twinkle & The Star" by Alejandra Gutiérrez and Alex de Campi - The art was fabulous, and the themes of body and self-acceptance were on point. The miscommunication trope was employed in the best way.
  • "The Last Minute" by Jess Bradley - It's the end of the world, and what are we doing not telling the people that we love that we love them.
  • "Unbound" by Naomi Salman - What a beautiful exploration of bondage and rebuilding trust in people after experiencing trauma.

I really had to consider my rating for this anthology because I didn’t like some of it that much but the bits I like I like So Freaking Much.
I disliked all the short stories, I just disliked the writing styles in them. The comics were better, but I especially looooved ”Old Flames”, ”Twinkle and the Star” and ”Treasured”. All of three them had incredible art and the most interesting stories of the bunch. Just for these three, I highly recommend! The other pieces are a fine bonus.

Some of the Comics went right over my head, some I really enjoyed. I thoroughly LOVED the short stories, though!
