Another great volume! This series is fun mix of comedy and sincerity, and has a great cast of characters to move the story forward. I really like how this series subverts your expectations at basically every opportunity, I am finding more and more that, what I thought was going to be a very typical, predictable romance, is keeping me guessing. I am never completely sure where the story is going to go. But so far, I love the progress we saw in this volume, hopefully even more happens in the next volume!

I received an eARC courtesy of VIZ media via NetGalley in exchange for my honest review.

As charming as the first two books in the series.

For Libraries: Perfect for teens who loved the first 2 books.

The ski trip was adorable.

I’ve tagged this as demisexual but as Ida is uncertain so are we. He could be demisexual or asexual or aromantic. Maybe time will tell.

I love all these little quests the characters' are going on and how it develops each of their relationships further. I love the Aoki and Hashi are each other's wing man/woman, it's so cute. After reading this volume, I'm getting MAJOR demiromantic vibes from Ida. I actually like that this is the case and we can see both Ida and Aoki not rush into things. I'm fully dedicated to this series now.

The beginning was rough!! That whole ski trip was a disaster, I'm glad things mellowed out and there was the same silly, lighthearted tone from the first two volumes.
I'm not really rooting for either of the romances, I like all of them as friends just fine, but I really like how casual? the romance is, not that Aoki could ever come across as casual lol. I liked the way Ida was unsure of his feelings toward Aoki because he'd never had a crush before. And the way Hashimoto confessed to Akkun and was rejected, but then asked him if she could try again skdjdksjdjf I thought that was so cute. It feels more realistic and sweet. A lot of teen romances I feel like are usually more dramatic
