So far my least favorite Bridgerton book? It starts off very compelling but then drags in a way that had me wishing for a swift end. Still, I love these books. Even the ones I don’t exactly like.

phillip sucks. if theres one thing you need to take away from this review its that. phillip can go to hell. i despise him. the best things about this book were amanda, oliver, and obviously eloise. and the crumbs we got of benedict and sophie were everything. anyways eloise deserves better. i hate phillip. i wish she’f gotten a better love interest. these two previous ones have been very eh, lets hope the three next ones are better (not that it would take much, just a good love interest).

Congratulations to Philip for being the first man in this series who is a good human being!! I’m so glad Eloise found a man who isn’t whiny and obnoxious!

Julia Quinn writes the most frustrating men, truly. I don’t believe she’s a bad writer, but I don’t believe she’s a good romance writer either. Why is it that all of the men throughout this series are SO lustful? And why is every story filled with a lack of communication that never truly gets resolved? I still enjoyed the read, but overall the series is frustrating!
