Emilia & Wrath who? I’m sorry guys, but Camilla & Envy have now become my new obsession. I finished this book a few days ago and I still can’t stop thinking about it. I absolutely loved her Kingdom of the Wicked series, but this (IMHO) topped it. I loved that there was absolutely nothing even remotely YA about this book or characters. I love the unique world building and spin on the princes of hell. I loved the overall vibe of this book too. In my head I was picturing sort of a naughty Alice in Wonderland/Victorian Gambling Hall of Drunken Vice/Peaky Blinders meets Miss Scarlett & the Duke…and a bunch of spicy sexual tension. Well, until the sexual tension is released. I really enjoyed seeing the different realms and getting to know more of the different creatures that inhabit the world, plus it’s always fun to see some (and I really mean only some) familiar faces. I absolutely cannot wait to see which brother’s story we get next!

This story drew me right in. The story flows and winds in the most delicious and interesting ways. It satisfies all I need in a fantasy. A devilishly intriguing villain, tricky fae, passionate vampires and hints of other interesting creatures. I love the games Envy and Camilla play with each other, as much as they vex me at times. I was invested in the story from the first chapter.

Envy was my favorite prince of hell in the Kingdom of the Wicked series. Suspenseful at times & a little slower moments. Some predictable moments, but more twisted turns.

I'm not normally a big fan of romantasy, but the chemistry and chase the two main characters had was perfect for me!
