This was brilliant. I loved every moment and having Clear Sky’s point of view was amazing he is probably my favourite point of view in the whole series

I'm not feeling it? Like a lot of the vharacters tho, it could get better from here. Wish I hadn't looped back to this off of the heels of finishing The Broken Code and every main series book chronologically before it lol

Clear sky

is again incredbly mean in an annoying way.

Turtle tail dies so unceremoniously, And nobody cared when rainswept flower died,

sure characters might've mentioned theirs names and said how sad they felt, but it felt incrediblly forced, instead of the characters actually caring.
Also so many characters.

These books are children’s/YA but man, some of the fight scenes are brutal lol. Anyway, this was a good read, well written, and I liked the bonus scene after the end with Wind and Gorse.
